Carrie Burgert unsuccessfully sued CVUSD around curriculum and what kids are exposed to in the classroom. She claimed so called “parental rights.” It’s all a farce— I’ve heard Burgert withdrew her kids from CVUSD and enrolled them in a Christian school with this policy:
