#Gibbons are another of those animals that are rarely flattered by #taxidermy (many historic specimens were made by taxidermists who had never seen a whole one).
This #gibbon at the Sorbonne Zoology Museum has been given a neck-pouch that's bigger than its head.
Great new study in AJBA by Kaita N. Gurian and colleagues showing that multiple researchers can reliably use the same microCT scans for 2D dental measurements with minimal inter-observer error. Excellent news for scan sharing in dental anthropology!
