🧵 We stand with Homes for All Cymru on this important statement. Clear information, fairness and kindness matter, especially at a time of anxiety and uncertainty.
Posts by Tai Pawb
We are a member of Homes For All Cymru, the collective voice of third-sector housing and homelessness organisations in Wales. We believe that everyone has the right to a safe, secure home and we are united in our commitment to building and supporting welcoming, well-informed communities. Public debate around housing and homelessness can be complex and misinformation creates fear and uncertainty for communities across Wales.
We need to be clear, the pressures that people are facing today have been caused by decades of under-investment in the homes we need. Real solutions to the housing emergency must address its real causes, not seek to stigmatise people or divide our communities. As an organisation and as part of Homes For All Cymru we are committed to fairness, anti-racism and championing solutions not scapegoating. We will keep working together to share clear and accurate information.
Homes For All Cymru are issuing a statement today in light of recent debates on housing, migration and support services.
These complex debates and related misinformation create uncertainty and anxiety. We believe clear information and kindness matter.

Rydym yn aelod o Gartrefi i Gymru Gyfan, llais cyfunol sefydliadau tai a digartrefedd y trydydd sector yng Nghymru. Credwn fod gan bawb yr hawl i gartref diogel a sicr ac rydym yn unedig yn ein hymrwymiad i adeiladu a chefnogi cymunedau croesawgar a gwybodus. Gall dadl gyhoeddus ynghylch tai a digartrefedd fod yn gymhleth ac mae camwybodaeth yn creu ofn ac ansicrwydd i gymunedau ledled Cymru.
Mae angen i ni fod yn glir, mae'r pwysau y mae pobl yn eu hwynebu heddiw wedi'u hachosi gan ddegawdau o danfuddsoddi yn y cartrefi sydd eu hangen arnom. Rhaid i atebion go iawn i'r argyfwng tai fynd i'r afael â'i achosion go iawn, nid ceisio stigmateiddio pobl na hollti ein cymunedau. Fel sefydliad ac fel rhan o Gartrefi i Gymru Gyfan rydym wedi ymrwymo i degwch, gwrth-hilioldeb a hyrwyddo atebion nid creu bwch dihangol. Byddwn yn parhau i weithio gyda'n gilydd i rannu gwybodaeth glir a chywir.
Homes for All Cymru yn cyhoeddi datganiad heddiw yng ngoleuni dadleuon diweddar ar dai, mudo a gwasanaethau cymorth.
Mae'r dadleuon cymhleth hyn a'r wybodaeth anghywir gysylltiedig yn creu ansicrwydd a phryder. Credwn fod gwybodaeth glir a charedigrwydd yn bwysig.
