I’m also torn with skipping ahead to the GBA or DS. I missed out on many of those releases too, and while they weren’t that novel compared to SNES, a lot of the QOL improvements were starting to land.

Love this. I’ve been playing with one of the retro mobile devices (Anbernic) and slowly working my way through the games I missed out on in the 90s as a Genesis kid. I’m half way through FF6 and thinking about what’s next.

Not a Greyhawk nerd, but I found the series Mastering Dungeons did last year interesting. They cover the setting, living Greyhawk, and each region across several episodes (starting with this one). Might be worth a listen.

My favorite was a neighbor going BANANAS because someone left partially eaten slices of pizza on their window sill. Once a week, never the same day, one slice. They got on nextdoor livid with indignation. Turns out a squirrel was getting into the neighbors garbage and pulling out leftovers.

I will forever associate Metric with the early (golden) years of Spotify. They were on heavy rotation as I was starting to explore the app and became a significant influence on my algorithm. And it was my need to play ”Black Sheep” on repeat that finally got me to subscribe.
