Saturday needs to be the new beginning for the arsenal this season. Defence hasn't been great and I wonder if the balance is there with Timber on the left? We should also have most of our injured back this weekend. Expect Calafiori on the left and Timber right which will be better for balance

Had a good writing day today. I'm writing a cold war thriller set in Berlin. I remember cold war Berlin (I am of a certain age) and crossing checkpoint Charlie. A fascinating era and always wanted to write a book set there.

My latest manuscript is out to agents. The one thing I struggle with is ‘how long do you wait?’. I may struggle with this one as its historical fiction (thriller).

I watched the Tyson fight this morning. Sad to watch but to be honest he was a largely spent force after the early 90’s
