Pleasantly surprised by LAC except for the ending.
Excited seeing some USA rep on this great show. Jason Mantzoukas was great. Let's keep it going!
2 was better than 1, so here's to hoping 3 is better than 2?

Not a #juliarobertshead but thought her performance in After the Hunt was pretty good.
The POV editing structure in the pursuit sequence in William Friedkin's The French Connection (1971) reveals its cognitive basis. The shots of Doyle's strained face gain meaning from POV shots of the traffic ahead, causing the viewer to infer his mental states.

Inspector Mom FTW
It used to be "Rangers South" aka TBL, now it's "Rangers West"
I kind of wish they had fit both into one, but I understand not all fans want to sit and watch a 3 1/2 hour film.
The same, but in retrospect I think I liked the first one a little more.
Really enjoyed LURKER, for a low budget film, super effective IMO.

Got Samson's hog on my mind.
It’s women’s history month; here are my 100 favourite films directed by women. Most prominent directors: Claire Denis, Lynne Ramsey & Kelly Reichardt. Celine Sciamma, Kathryn Bigelow, Julia Ducournau, Andrea Arnold and Joanna Hogg have three entries each. Some glorious work here. Cinema!
People hate on CRIMEWAVE, but recently re-watched it and, sure it's corny-as-hell but at least for me, truly entertaining over-the-top stuff you don't see every day.
Listen, I get the AI hate - I am not a fan. But to say it's not getting better is just being ignorant. This is only going to get worse before it gets better.
