This is the Word of the Lord but some may find it hateful.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To ACT JUSTLY and to LOVE MERCY
and to WALK HUMBLY with your God.
(emphasis mine)
~ Micah 6:8
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven.
- Jesus
Can you imagine the courage it took to preach this message directly to the president? This is what a follower of Jesus looks like. (Partial transcript below.)
Lord willing it will only be 4 years.
I found the titles for Victorian and Wild West... what's the Antiquity one called? I think I find ancient history the most interesting. :)

I remember that this was the pattern in the Psalms when I would read them with Eric Ortlund. The language appeared to be God causing calamity for the wicked but when you looked closer and read further it was often just the natural consequences of evil catching up with them.
I wonder if it is a lack of imagination that makes fundamentalisms problematic.
Guess that explains why there's sooo much lore over the span of millenia. :)
I had not. There is much for me to still discover. I have thoroughly enjoyed attempting my first chronicle in VtM though.
What's it like?
That TWoD is based very much on the real world makes it feel more real, and that you are compelled to keep your identity secret, trying to blend in, also makes it feel like it could be real. One thing that another GM said that stuck with me, Vampires makes you care about your character. He's right.
@worldofdarkness.bsky.social Coming at World of Darkness as a DnD player & DM and having spent some time with Vampire The Masquerade, through YouTube series, the books, and as a GM I'd say it's more than a setting, more than a body of lore, it's like a new paradigm of story telling and role playing.
"If you do things in the name of Jesus,
that end up making you less like Jesus,
you've misunderstood Jesus."
~Ed Stetzer
Something fun
I like that insight. Then whatever the event, nothing can separate us from the love of God, and that informs our opinions about the events which can is needed when we are disturbed.

Is the 300 character limit a feature or a bug when doing the digital commonplace book thing?
Brain teaser. White moves next. Black wins in 2 turns. Can you see it?
Things are about to get a lot more chaotic in a few days. I would encourage all persons of faith to pray for wisdom and discernment and the preservation of truth and honest virtue.
