Just got this, trying to log into a platform.
This feels like a trap... lol

If you're the kind of person who both..
Keeps your volume up on your computer at work, and
Has their notification sounds on for chat platforms.

Fuck you.

Can we please stop using "Fireside Chat" for every.. single.. fucking.. thing..?
Unless you've got a fire place; and everyone has a drink, and they're talking about the consciousness of the universe; it ain't a "Fireside chat" - It's an interview.
Stop trying to make it sound more cool than it is.

I fear of the world, where leadership replaces knowledge and experienced based information from their SMEs; with what ChatGPT tells them - And act as an authority on the content.

They already wanted short quips to make their decisions, now the computer is the sycophant.

This scares me.

I'm usually not a very anxious person...
But walking by a washing machine that's kicked off it's spin cycle... usually gets to me. lol

Wow; who knew setting an old Mac would so difficult..

Thankfully; this article was able to help figure out why I couldn't get the AppStore to authenticate. What a dumb dumb system.

Always fun to get back into MechWarrior 5 Mercs - The new DLC was pretty good. Nice to see some cinematics and new voice acting thrown into the game.

But as always, I just end up spending way to much time in the mech hangar, and looking at the mech models. lol

I swear; there are fewer nerve wracking things than standing next to a washing machine, starting to spin up on a load that you're pretty sure is unbalanced...
And just standing there; waiting for it to go into pure chaos mode.

I saw someone refer to "Hooters" as being the American equivalent to a Japanese "Maid Cafe"...
That's legitimately made me reevaluate a lot of things. lol

Overlaid on the image is white text that reads: "Let's start with a 200% tariff on podcast equipment for straight men." The background outside the car window shows a clear sky, power lines, and some buildings.

Random new pet peeve:
People who stare into their cell phones in elevators; and don't pay attention to when they need to step out.

You're in a metal box; you've got no reception - How about you put your phone in your pocket, and wait the 20 seconds until you're out of the elevator to go back it?

I've been a fan of Whose Line for years and year; but I do NOT remember this classic UK episode. I thought I had seen them all.
Plus; a young Stephen Fry!
