Happy Birthday Elaine May.
The best.
If you only know her comedies, do yourself a favor and watch this harrowing masterpiece.
How cool! Your mom’s friend was a genius. It was *so* brilliantly designed and had major “fashion” impact at the time.
Without question - Bonnie & Clyde. Saw it when I was 13 and everything about it was shocking and new; literally could not get up from my seat and stayed for the next showing. It’s hard now to imagine its power and originality.
… and then there’s the 2025 Midnight Cowboy to contemplate
Who new? This is great.
Julie Christie in "McCabe & Mrs. Miller" - BOTD

“Children will enlist”
Gotta be careful what you say around the kids.
How nice! I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ll be on the lookout. I appreciate you letting me know. Thank you.

This is fantastic and *so* wish I could be there for it—all the best for a great success!
A truly wonderful biography.
😔
It’s wonderful. And each episode is only 25 minutes long; the “time it takes to enjoy a cup of tea.”
I had *no* idea…
Thanks so much for sharing this!
A fab foto.
Everyone...
As soon as you start seeing Donald Trumps name on currency, write "IS A PEDOPHILE" under it and get that currency circulating around the world.
Hegseth’s “it takes money to kill bad guys” while asking for $200B—this is what passes for thinking? It’s not strategy, it’s macho bullshit from a guy treating war like a f*cking video game.
Very well, thanks - and all best to you with present and upcoming projects.
Bleed, bleed, poor country!
And congratulations on your first anniversary with many more to come!
Stunning.
Just got it. Can’t wait. I’ve read many a SS bio/study, and I jump to attention when a Jack Viertel dubs it “extraordinary!”
The Morning After. The Chicago River is holding onto its green glow. Tomorrow, it will be like a mint slurpee with the snow that is forecasted.
Thanks for the memory.
An absolutely beautiful tribute to a singular artist. Thank you.
