With Flotilla, entering the hurt state while continuing to hold down that button will ensure a "max_knives" flag is never set. If you re-equip the spell here, it softlocks the game.

A couple more sets of JRPG music; this time we're on dungeon themes.

Fennoxie Swamp was my attempt to play with some of the weirder sounds I'd loved from Nobuo. Very happy with how it turned out.

Battle Meditation was yet another fight theme. Was directed to get a "halfway point" sort of vibe.

More JRPG music! I love writing villain themes. I dunno what it is; maybe it's being able to indulge in those Bach-like licks.

Another song for the OHR project. I'll post a couple of these for a few days, because I think this was the first time I felt like I was understanding the process of naturally working structure into a song without really thinking about it.

I later worked on a project for the OHRRPGCE (Official Hamster Republic Role Playing Game Construction Engine. only real ones know) and wrote ~20 tracks on it, I think? Anyway, here's a very Uematsu "Hurry!!!" theme from it. The other song was a personal piece I ended up working into later projects.
