I ended up trading in the old phone (was still in good shape overall), getting a Pixel 9 Pro XL, a screen protector, a free set of Google earbuds and an upgraded) plan for $200 CAD. a bit ridiculous that a brand new phone cost me less than a screen replacement tbh
ooh, this happened to me last year with my previous Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I got it 2nd hand, the screen that came with it was a replacement, and it was still going to cost $250-480 CAD to replace with a similar off-market screen.
In conclusion, we have a duty of care to each other, learning things is cool, actually, sometimes solidarity is hard work but it’s the work we all need to do.

Limiting transmission is still the most important public health goal. We know how to do that but are reluctant to employ the tools. Masking and cleaning the air. Rigorous surveillance testing is also essential to inform citizens of the advancing or retreating COVID risks.
