Fantastic site! Is the entire manual set available somewhere (Archive, torrent, etc)?

Screenshot of the Arcade Manual Archive website arcadeRTFM.com (dark mode) showing detailed technical specifications for the classic Sega Out Run arcade machine (sitdown/upright Rev B, 1986). The page includes hardware specs (2x Motorola MC68000 @ 10 MHz, Zilog Z80 @ 4 MHz), raster horizontal display (320×224 at 60.05 Hz), audio chips (YM2151 OPM and Sega PCM), controls (1 player, steering paddle, pedal, 1 button, 2 coin slots), a full DIP switch settings table for coin credits, cabinet type, demo sounds, time adjustment and difficulty, plus links to downloadable service manuals and schematics. Site header reads 'ARCADE MANUAL ARCHIVE' with stats 7,821 machines and 2,405 service manuals; search term 'out run' is active.

I radically improved arcadeRTFM.com this week. It's now a fully indexed archive of arcade repair/operator manuals plus schematics. It has details for 7,800+ arcade machines and 2,400+ manuals. You can search by game, manufacturer, year or even chip! Share it wherever you think it might be useful.

Still Alive MIX BOSSTED Listen to Still Alive MIX BOSSTED by ONSMOON #np on #SoundCloud

Good god, I just scrambled for like 15 minutes to figure out why the Mirrors Edge ending song seemed so familiar but seemed to be missing notes. I had no idea this song from 2010 was a remix!

If ya'll could boost my game I'd very much appreciate it!

Trying to get to 50 reviews for the Steam algorithm. I already have glowing reviews from the likes of Raigan Burns (N++) and Daniel Linssen (Leap Year) and just need a handful more.

Probably could geoip lookup and guess the school. Or if they're really brash, it might be their school IP and you could nslookup it lol

Goodness. Makes me wonder what the page with the most citations is.

Does anyone have the capability and consoles to take very high res shots of original Xbox motherboards?

We're looking for the level of resolution of the wonderful shots @jft-jnftech.bsky.social took of Xbox 360 motherboards ("Image" section next to each model)

It took me entirely too long to figure out that the unmodified CM logo SVG wasn't looking nice because the color fill is a shape made of many small triangles to fill the inside. Removing the background and generating a new SVG gave me this beauty

If Vegas>Home is booked, can you book Vegas>Somewhere and Somewhere>Home? Or do they only allow one flight per day?

My favorite part of the Savage Planet games is that there's a TV in the home base just playing high production fake ads from another galaxy. Literally 40+ minutes of ads for no reason other than world flavor

Nice! I loved MKR on Saturn, but the Game Gear version's fighting mechanic is so rough. Cool they experimented with it, but I get why it never caught on

Looks cooler in the dark though. Going to see if I can modify the parking spot for the beam so it doesn't burn my phosphors too and figure out how to hide retrace lines.

This is using the Teensy v-st project on Github which adapts serial drawing commands to vector. It works, but both the hardware and software aren't very well documented and both needed some guesswork and fixes, so I wouldn't recommend it. MiSTer would be the way to go if you have one!

Fixed my oscilloscope tonight and played with some vector stuff. Managed to adapt a vector brick breaker sample to use a 360 controller.

Ooh, so much potential with the different shell colors having different power-ups (fire, wings, stomp, star giving you flashing). Would be fun to have Mario/Luigi enemies that try and stomp your head to stun you and kick you off cliffs to your death

Totally agree, making it a job would ruin it. Though if I didn't have to worry about money, it'd probably be clocking job-like hours out of passion lol

I think reuben is my answer too. Every reuben my dad ever made growing up. Becoming canned corned beef has to be the worst fate after death
