went rooting around in the bins and found this fascinating 45 on Blue Caribe Records, made in Brooklyn by a calypso band, playing a Cuban jam by the author of the song that became "Louie Louie"! (he's got a nice stash of calypso 45s if anyone is interested, and he's looking to sell the lot)
