When you're organising the next hang out! You can be like "I'd love to see you again, I had fun chatting with you the other day. I just want to be clear that I'm not looking for a relationship and we would just be meeting up as friends."

Yes you don't have to get good BUT I also want you to know that you're good at it. Your brain is lying to you. When I read your fic I often specifically notice how your prose is very elegant and polished!

Yeah! Every brain is different and we are still doing a lot of educated guesswork when it comes to brain health

I think esp for autism and ADHD the image of people with these neurotypes that has been popularised (??) online is only a very narrow part of what then can possibly be like tbh. (For that matter ppl a ADHD are also often sensory seeking.)

No! I can only speak knowledgeably about autistic kids here but some are just overall hypersensitive to sensory input and some are overall hyposensitive. And ofc some are a mix depending on context or which senses etc.

If you want a real answer (and this isn't a diagnosis ofc, it's a random on the internet ๐Ÿ˜…) being sensory seeking (eg loving crowds, loud noises, lights & other sensory stimulation) and happy flapping are common w autism

nah this is it. spend three hours like "i can't go to bed until i do the dishes but i can't do the dishes bc ???" and the whole time I could have just decided the dishes could wait till tomorrow

Idle follow up thought bc I don't know how to shut up but how about fanfiction? Do you find you read that faster?

I think people do just have different reading speeds! i was always a fast reader. I was very bored in school and so every day I would bring in a novel and read it under the desk and I remember people always commenting on how fast I got through them. I don't think it's that you're unusually slow.

If it's a dense academic history book, I probably won't read it in one day, but a fun fantasy adventure novel is easy to read in one sitting. I don't sit down and think "I'm gonna read a whole book today", it just happens if I've got the time and I'm having fun.

Idk who needs to hear this but you are not under any obligation to read graphic descriptions of abuse

they might've changed diagnostic criteria some time! I'm no expert, I'm also just googling "what the fuck is wrong with me" once a month ๐Ÿ˜…

You don't have to have physical symptoms to be diagnosed with pmdd! Just mood symptoms is pretty common

pls don't feel obligated to follow me back. i've posted two things ever, both reposts, and one was a dick joke.

can't believe we're still using "lwj has a big dick" as a tag when we could've been using "HUNGuang-jun" all along

These look so similar other than the fact that faceapp puts makeup on you. Genuinely shocked it was so spot-on!

Those fics meant so much to me as a teenager!! I hope you're still very proud of them, whether or not they hold up today (hello, sorry for appearing out of the woodwork; I am an ancient lurker from your lj days)

Is it unbearable to contend with the idea of hiring skates while you're away? I know hire skates are horrible but it might be the compromise between no ice time and having to lug yours around
