This show was a delight! So glad I got to see @robwords.bsky.social in person (and there was even a Jess spotting) 🙂

Looking clueless and sad and incompetent I got an airline employee to put my bag tag on for me. Success! (I really am so useless at this because I rarely check bags)

Why is your toddler in charge of pushing your rolling case through one of the busiest airports in the world? This is NOT the time to delegate! 🤣

a brown wire-haired pup stands on a wooden deck in a grassy yard. he looks at us with golden eyes and his right ear flipped inside out. he has a pipe-shaped stick in his mouth, giving him the appearance of a sophisticated and dapper gentleman. just give him a deerstalker cap and a cloak, and he'd give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money.

This pup found a stick shaped like an old timey pipe earlier today and has already solved three mysteries. 13/10

Menstrual products have become more expensive over the past few years, in part due to rising inflation and new tariff policies. The average price of those products — which includes tampons and sanitary pads — has risen nearly 40%.

I don’t even care about the address that much since I’m in a big apartment building, but the back and forth negotiations on timing, etc are so frustrating

I feel stressed on your behalf. Airport “security” is like a sys designed by a human who doesn’t understand anything about actual security or human experience

I love the idea of freecycle and buynothing. I’ve been a freecycle user since 2003; buynothing since 2018(?). But I really wish there was an amazon locker equivalent for community gifting because the stress and annoyance for a giver organizing pick up is a barrier and disincentive to trashing stuff

20 years ago, Steve described this new thing called Twitter to me, and I literally laughed out loud. "I'll give it six months," I believe was my reply. In my defense, he had been on AOL, MySpace, Friendster, Facebook, and maybe more by this point.

Idk why I’m still awake. Except, actually, I totally know: recovering from covid and having a bunch of weird med interactions alongside messed up sleep patterns. At least it’s almost the weekend so I can sleeeeeeeeeppppppp 😴

It’s that time again: I’m raising rent relief funds for Minneapolis immigrant families affected by ICE!

Donations are down, but ICE is still here and there’s still so much need. Can you help?
