The last day of the #PSA26 conference is approaching: If you want to catch us, you should definitely come to the TLN roundtable 'Teaching and Learning Network Roundtable: Skills, Rewards & Recognition'. It starts at 11:30 am tomorrow and takes place in the Examination Schools (Room 9). See you then!
Don't miss it! π
If you have a bit of time on your hand, come earlier and join us for our meet the editors event, it starts in about 15 min at the same place! If you can't make it, feel free to download the job market report π. 2/2
www.psa.ac.uk/resources/ac...
Don't forget to join us for the roundtable discussion on the academic job market in politics where the new report by @lawrencemckay.bsky.social, @ralphscott.bsky.social and @williamlallen.bsky.social will be launched. The #PSA26 event starts 12:30 at the East School (Examination Schools). /1
We would like to thank the editors, the authors of the job market report as well as the @polstudiesassoc.bsky.social for their contributions and support! 4/4
While both events are particularly interesting for early career researchers as well as prospective and current PhD students, the job market roundtable is going to be interesting for any political scientist working in a UK Higher Education institution. /3
The first event will address questions about how to publish, and get your manuscripts ready for submission. The second event will discuss the results of the job market report (in political science), the authors will elaborate on their results and the wider implications. /2
If you are currently planning tomorrow's #PSA26 conference day, consider joining us for two exciting events: Meet the editors (11:30-12:30) and our job market roundtable (12:30-13:30). Both take place in the "Examination Schools β East School", so you don't even need to switch the venue. /1
Don't miss our speed mentoring! It will start in about one hour.
If you don't have any plans for the evening after the first #PSA26 conference day, or you would just like to meet other Early Career Researchers and PhD students, join us for our social event on Monday in the The Lighthouse pub from 18:30 to 20:00. You can meet our team & network! See you tomorrow!
Meet our mentors! π
We would like to thank our mentors and @polstudiesassoc.bsky.social in advance to make this event possible. See you tomorrow in Oxford! 3/3
If you're in the middle of your PhD, about to finish or you just completed it, our speed mentoring's also the right choice for you. You can discuss all your post-doc questions with our mentors. The speed mentoring of #PSA26 takes place at the Examination Schools β North School (Conference Hub). /2
You just arrived in Oxford for the #PSA26 and put together your itinerary for your conference days? If you are just starting your PhD journey or thinking about starting it, we suggest popping in to our speed mentoring (Monday, 11:30-12:30) where you can get advice from our seasoned academics. /1
