I spend most of my time in a office with no music, looking at pictures of the records you are listening while I can't.

Also, some archival recordings were never released on vinyl in the first place, so there is no authenticy of sort to pursue with the format.

I had a bit of an argument with a record seller yesterday about the price tag of some used vinyl (above 200 EUR). My point is that even if you can afford it, it is somehow unethical to spend so much money for a record.

I inadvertently broke the news to a coworker that her husband had been shot by her father.

Certainly the likes of Keith Richards, Eric Cla...

This record should come with a sticker: "to the mainstream listener: not all instrumental music is Jazz".

Very interesting story

How did a Black man in 1940s Jim Crow South open a club where Black and white people danced together?

Charlie’s Place was revolutionary, and that meant it was dangerous.

An entry on Discogs that reads as follows: .

I bought this from someone on here for $8 way back, as you can see on the lowest price sold. They shipped it in a folded over piece of cardboard so it came broken in 3 pieces. Just a reminder, not all that glitters is gold.
Don't start collecting records, worse decision of my life.

Great story. No, really. Brilliant. I paid $1 for my copy in a junk shop. Collecting records is the essence of life and one of the great endeavors a person can undertake.

She Spoke Out About Gaza. Now She Can’t Use a Credit Card. After accusing governments and corporations of complicity in Gaza, the U.N. investigator for Palestine territories now finds herself in Washington’s crosshairs.

U.N. investigator Francesca Albanese is seen by her supporters as a rare and forceful voice piercing the cone of silence and indifference that has fallen over Gaza.

This has earned her powerful enemies.
