Suddenly it all makes sense!

I begrudgingly upgraded too and hate it a bit less than I thought. I guess that’s something…

I always know things are getting serious when I finally set up a staging environment.

Hmm, interesting. I went from the Safari straight to the 2000. And while 2000 is objectively the much nicer pen, I go back to the Safari again and again. Gonna get myself an AL-star to see if I am missing out, aluminium does sound nice. Thanks. (14 is a lot, though... just saying, not judging. 🙂)

It sometimes strikes me how personal and strange taste is. Like after getting into fountain pens, the ones I enjoy using the most are a Lamy Safari and a Kaweco Sport. I think the fact that they are inexpensive and modest makes them even more endearing to me.

Enjoyed the Chopin Competition this year. I wonder if the winner Eric Lu is gonna be back again in five years to defend his title as the reigning champion.

That is a valid view of course. But my point (and the one of the posts I was replying to) was much narrower and does neither argue for nor against letting people, however vile, stay in a community.

That article does not demonstrate a fallacy, though, only argues (in a very perfunctory way) a different position. Also, the article is concerned with artists, whose output often is considered to have meaning. DHH outputs code, which does not have meaning the way art is thought to have meaning.

I've been enjoying easy monorepo setups with Better-T-Stack (better-t-stack.dev). Since there wasn't an i18n option, I built a reusable package using i18next for minimal setup across projects. #monorepo #i18n #ReactNative github.com/mrkshm/monor...

Nice. (I came for the JS but stayed for the food inspiration.)
