Had people sign up for Test Track and then did nothing, assuming showing a blank empty project page put some people off, so adding this onboarding page.

Checks weather forecast, no rain forecast, get ready to go for a round of Golf, get on main road, chucks it down. Give up going, get back home, stops raining. I hate English weather. 😡
From various users and my own use decided to get rid of the split pane view of the test steps on Test Track. You lose a lot of screen space when viewing a particular test, so decided the table is always full screen but when selecting a task a modal is displayed

I tried vibe code...and i hated every minute of it

Yes I don’t know why I keep going back hoping I might get a different result but usually don’t
I so hate reddit, did a post on on /r/saasbuild posted about new feature and marketing trouble, specifically says can promote, although i didn't direct as didn't suggest signup or pricing etc, but it got removed - this has happened on so many supposedly build in public posts

I've just released a new version of Test Track which adds to its
shortcut.com integration, and now includes @github.com and @atlassian.bsky.social Jira as well.

Have now managed to get the Jira integration working in @test-track.com , hopefully releasing very soon
#buildinpublic
Implemented the GitHub integration into @test-track.com. Next up is Jira
#buildinpublic
Created a new landing page for @test-track.com , also now includes the information about third party integrations that I added last week. Can check it out at test-track.com.

I plan on adding Jira and GitHub over the next few weeks, have any suggestions you'd like to see let me know

New setup, gone from 2x 22" monitors, 1x 34" ultrawide as a bit of an experiment.
Are you a 1x or 2x or more monitor set up kind of person?

They don't leave any other message, think they get confused by the call screening (or the automation does) but can't completely block the call because its an unknown caller id. Getting multiple a day all of a sudden, bloody annoying
I keep getting these nuisance calls thankfully apple call screen stops the phone ringing but keeps triggering the call screening notification but can't transcribe as initially just ring tone is played, sometimes you might get someone in a busy call centre location saying hello...
My experiment with trying an ultrawide monitor isn't going to plan. Bought one monitor, broken on arrival. Found a new monitor to buy when the refund comes through which it did today, monitor I was going to buy shot up in price ☹️
I've been experimenting with AI tools a bit (OpenCode) and MCP. I can see this being useful, I also tried vibe coding a desktop app (a docker desktop replacement that can edit env var and recreate) but vibe coding is so boring compared to actual coding or is that just me

I thought I’d try experimenting with a single ultrawide monitor instead of 2 22” inch. Found 1 reasonable price, waited over a week to arrive, pulled desk apart put new screen found backlight was broken 😩
Finally adding integrations to third party services to
@test-track.com
What integrations would you like to see if using Test Track
I swear tech is getting more and more dumb sometimes
This is now available on GitHub and available via Docker Hub. Instructions on how to set up is in the GitHub readme at github.com/DevsoIO/pris...
Although most apps use prisma for an ORM for web apps, sometimes I have C# apps talking to the same DB for background tasks and creating the EF model is slow manual process, so I made a little tool to convert from Prisma schema to C# EF model. Planning to make OSS

Solve Flow is a unified support portal allowing your customers to raise support tickets, issue reports and feature requests for all of your products and services under your own domain(s).
Solve Flow is in early development but you can join the waitlist at solve-flow.com
Successfully managed to migrate a couple of projects including Test Track to use Turbopack. So much faster, was kind of painful navigating between pages before.

I don’t get why I’m seeing so many people saying they are leaving next and going to tanstack.
Yes next had a vulnerability so did react. People aren’t moving away from react so why just next. Tanstack isn’t immune from having CVEs published against it in the future.
Am I missing something
Added activity stream when viewing a support ticket for Solve Flow and added a notification system of the activity stream as well. Think I should be ready to start doing the issue tracking now
You can join the waitlist at solve-flow.com

Finally managed to release the new version today. Took just under a week to complete the migration and do a couple of bug fixes as well.

Haha I know how you feel
Been migrating Test Track to use better auth, don’t know why I thought it was going to be quick, taking a lot longer than I expected. Not the fault of better auth though.
