Like my fiancé knows I really like rivals 2 and is very supportive of my hobbies. Because of her support makes me super happy and want to keep playing but sometimes I just can’t pick up the control even when I have free time because of everything and makes me a little sad.

Haven’t really played much ult or rivals for a bit now cause of everything cause of moving, college, engagement, just a lot of shit on my plate so everything has been an afterthought for me.

Next. In 1 1/2 months I’ll be moving to the west coast for both my own future and so we can live together to grow together. This will also mean this is the last month on probably either

B: going to tournaments events in general

I love everyone I’ve met through ultimate, even the small interaction with top players have been some of the most memorable things for me but I’m gonna put effort into things I love and the people I care about. Unlike people giving death threats to people like Onin and Doramigi. Love y’all ( 7/7 )

Honestly Kagaribi #13 was the best and last tournament I want to be a part of for a little while and just focus on a game I love (aka Rivals 2) as well as my girlfriend whom I love very much. Doesn’t mean I’ll quit ultimate but it’s just gonna be a mental switch for me ( 6/? )

I also feel like the community as a whole had become sort of a cesspool of hypocritical assholes who defend the wrong people and get mad at others for what could be seen as understandable reasons until they start sending death threats which is something I don’t wanna be apart of this. ( 5/? )

Combine this with the annoying top tiers of the game and you develop a meta where you have a lot of one note uninteresting characters.

Compared to Rivals 2 which everyone is very unique and fun with mechanics that make defense and its characters so fun ( 4/? )

I feel the only reason that people think this game had depth is that its defensive mechanics are so bad. This is nothing against Onin or any Steve player, you do you but after watching Steve vs Ken I feel like I could write a damn essay on how bad parry is in this game. ( 3/? )

I talked to Juno about this (who btw is the greatest person I’ve met in Rivals 2) and I think after today it’s reemphasized it for me.

The meta is garbage. The top tiers of the game are just one note characters with nothing special making every character feel very one dimensional. ( 2/? )
