The recipe to repopulate fireflies is slugs + tall grasses!

We have repopulated the fireflies in my neighborhood by building a big compost heap that attracts slugs and planting native grasses that grow to hip height. Firefly larvae eat slugs, and adults require tall grasses to mate.

An update: I am done with Bookcon. Day two went swimmingly.
