DJI tech is the best video tech I’ve come across. I use the Action for diving and Osmo for hiking. Too bad their drones are banned in the US now, no other manufacturer comes close in quality or price for that category.

Very clickbait headline. Proton Mail was forced to hand over payment data to Swiss authorities due to a legally binding order, which was then shared to the FBI via MLAT. At no point did they “help” the FBI.

Anyone with a mild degree of privacy awareness knows payment data is not E2E encrypted.

The problem with mobile security is it’s all about perimeter security. Once that fails, there is little remedy. Everything else shifted towards continuous monitoring due to compromise mentality being; not if, but when.

Beyond Apple notifying you, there is a gap in detections that is hard to fill.

We need more marine sanctuaries. They regenerate reefs, recover fish colonies, and improve fishing conditions in the surrounding areas, benefiting local economies.

Anyone with a smartwatch that tracks HR and sleep quality can immediately tell how much impact a single drink has on the body.

I think most always knew it to be unhealthy, it’s more that we now have the tech to see the individual impact in real-time.

Delta using AI to determine the price you pay for plane tickets Delta Airlines is facing criticism for its use of artificial intelligence to determine ticket prices, a practice known as surveillance pricing.

Wouldn’t this effectively drive traffic away from delta.com to third party booking sites? The only time you need to book on the carrier website is when you are redeeming points

I don’t see MS introducing something that would enable people to flag and potentially scrutinize the main technology they are forcing into almost every one of their products.

What is the obsession for power banks and chargers these days? There is such heavy competition to make them look “cool” too, people it’s a plastic cube that sits in a wall outlet.

Not complaining about Anker. They do make solid products. I just don’t get people’s desire to get the “best” charger.
