Did I like #ThePitt season 2?
Overall, yes. Like the less high stakes and focus on how exhausted everyone on staff is. Loved some of the patients and their stories (Digby 💜, Ilana 😭, Louie 😭😭), big fan of what they're doing with Frank and of the weirdness of the night crawlers.

That said (yes, I'm ready to get murdered for that): Mel and Frank= 100% platonic/work best friends. I recognised the looks of "glad there's someone I can confide in in this place" from myself and my own work best friend.

I don't watch #ThePitt for the ships, but for the stories, acting, and not-over-the-top drama. After S2E15 though: you can't convince me Robby and Abbot didn't have at least a fling in med school. There's a little too much chemistry between them.

Currently reading Adam Hochschild's "King Leopold's Ghost" about the atrocities committed in the Congo. King Leopold is hopefully rotting in the darkest pits of wherever mass murderers go.

Book highly recommendable though. This should really become more common knowledge.

Also, Robby is going to be fine. The moment he admitted his actual feelings to Duke, after confirming to Dana that he still cares about everyone in his ER, and didn't completely shy away from Caleb confronting him, that was the first step on the road back. #ThePitt

#ThePitt knows how to do a story arc. Frank needed a proper 'I can still do it' moment before the end of the day, and that cervical realignment was badass. Also, he and Robby are going to be okay. They needed to be reminded what they liked about working together, and Frank needed a compliment.

Also: this cricket brain now belongs to England until October. Except for the #BestSeriesOfThemAll of course.
