I’m so glad the community has stepped up and, as a woman in STEM, I would have as had I known, but it is unforgivable that they had to. Between things like this and our federal workers, we are losing the potential of the best of us because of the actions of unserious, insecure, and stupid people.
Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.
Bear with me for a second while I try to explain.

Completely understandable. A 1/3-1/2 full ship sounds like a dream! This one we’re on over New Year’s on the new biggest fanciest toy is at like 130% capacity with all of the kids. It’s a beautiful ship and is spacious, but it’s a LOT of people!

See that’s certainly one side of what I can see, but then you have some who have left Scientology or that nexivm one who seem better able to see the signs to avoid it happening again.
