I am mid row, I knit with four and use the fifth as I work around each side. But I had to put it down to start work. I do however know where I am thanks to the stitch markers and obsessive note taking.

Sounds like you might enjoy my other hobby. It’s very good if you feel the urge to stab things as you stab the material repeatedly with a needle. It’s very therapeutic and there’s no pressure to make a matching pair 🤣

Cheap mostly acrylic but the duck egg blue socks will be tough enough and warm enough for gardening.

The duck egg blue gardening socks are in the final straight towards completion. Have already cast on pair eleven as the light wasn’t good enough last night for picking up stitches but I still needed something to knit 🧶 Definitely addicted 🤣

A rabbit’s view of the garden. Beginning to get worried as definitely signs of nibbling and digging appearing again. At least I managed to evict the large brown rat that had made a nest under one of my ornamental grasses. 🌱
