I saw Trump’s assault on our democracy firsthand. So I built a bipartisan organization to defeat election deniers across the country. We ended their careers & protected democracy.

I am very biased on this front (was one of Porter’s original campaign volunteers back in 2018) but I don’t love that it feels like Steyer is buying the election. Every week it seems like he’s dumping $10,000,000 into buying ads that are absolutely saturating the state.

I have met Katie - many, many times - both as a neighborhood/school mom and as a campaign volunteer. She's one of the few people who I will leave my son with. I've been in and out of her house too many times to count and I've never seen her behaving as a monster.

A baby great horned owl sits in a cardboard box. There is a blue towel in the bottom of the box and a bit of owl poop on the sides.

My parents have a palm tree in their yarn and a nesting pair returns every year. Last year we had to rescue an owlet that fell to the ground. It was so adorably uncoordinated.

I was also on a trip to Sacramento last week!

A few weeks ago I was in Hilo, Hawaii and the first morning there I dragged my entire family down to the farmers market. It took some convincing before my kiddo would try soursop and he loved it.
