Game type is modestly puzzly turn-based roguelite - you have a good amount of choice with a good amount of RNG. Upgrades, characters, mysteries, good music/interface/sounds, and chompy baddies.

So I played this game a bit more today, and it's pretty neat, and really just *original*. The art's delightfully weird/creepy.

I don't even need the game to have PvE for everything - but if there were some PvE experiences available? Would be awesome. I really enjoyed the first week, more or less enjoyed the next couple, and it's borderline unplayable and quite un-fun now.

FWIW, I would play the heck out of this game/world in modes that were tilted toward or exclusively PvE. The same goes for ARC really.

Also, I evidently have zero chance of ever seeing the cool high-end content, so that's a strike against it too. I respect a bit that they don't want to compromise on harshness, but inevitably the player base is just going to keep losing the casual / non-expert players
