Recently I played "Conbunn Cardboard" on stream and really liked it. It is a short but quite enjoyable game in which you move around a world collecting things. There is no combat and the game is quite relaxed. I would play several more hours of this easily.

The one thing I think I have truly learned, while being a gamedev for a majority of my life, is that most people not only have absolutely no idea how gamedev works, but often have incredibly wrong ideas or opinions on how it works. Some of it basically gets to conspiracy levels of wrong beliefs.

My favorite thing about this look is that the armor was intended for someone much bigger (Azra-El was massive), so Kim looks kinda silly and cute because she's so teeny.

I just think she's Neat

And while it sounds silly, these sorts of things are absolutely accessibility options. So if you do make indie games, and you have a little extra time, maybe consider some basic options for the player. I know its tough out there, but id love to be able to play more of these wonderful games.

I absolutely love indie games, but this is unfortunately common. Often because they are small teams (and tight deadlines), there is a lack of basic options (and sometimes not obvious options). Many of them do not even support windowed modes, resolution changes, or even audio adjustments.

i really wanted to play and like Pseudoregalia, but the camera makes me super motion sick, and there are no settings for FOV or really anything useful to help with motion sickness such as adjusting lag time when moving, so sadly i have to accept it ill never play it.

Simulating 8 different cases (4 seasons x day/night), each with it's own random winds, then averaging them out to compute the final biome distribution. Thanks to averaging, the result is more influenced by the heightmap, but still random.

If I had a nickel for every time I've found speed tech in a game where enemies push you through geometry I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice

i love when you see a speedrun with notes like "time could probably be improved by a few seconds" and the time for the run has since been cut by minutes or even more.

I can not remember when or how it happened, but at some point my partner and i just started making radio static sounds at each other to say when we were going to brush our teeth and prepare for bed.

And we are doing a round 2 now
