I haven’t worked on that exact Dragon Age armor before, but I've done some clean breakdown style work where I separate parts and make things easier to understand.

the approach is the same clear forms, readable details, and organized design sheets, I’ve attached a few so you can see what I mean.

I watched your video and checked the reference you shared. That’s definitely something I can match pretty closely. I’ve done some retro/pulp-style work before, and I can push it more toward that classic painted noir feel so it works well as a proper book cover.

I've actually done some sci-fi cover work before, and this concept feels quite similar. I could definitely adapt it, shift the focus to an M/M dynamic, and really emphasize the romantic elements for your story.
