Lexington, MA, Cleveland, OH, LA, CA, teachers nationwide are being laid off in massive numbers.
The issue? It’s one of priorities. Who is often the highest paid person working in high schools throughout America? The High School Resource Officer.

Every policy platform needs to start with a comprehensive voters’ rights package. By guaranteeing the right to vote, eliminating corporate & international influence, eliminating gerrymandering, and ensuring free elections, you’ll win consistently & everything else can be passed.

First and foremost, anyone that kills children deserves no mercy whatsoever. They deserve to be treated like the scum they are.
However, far too often, black mass shooters end up under a sheet, but white ones end up in handcuffs. Why is this the case?
I agree. My problem is that everytime one of these maga politicians wake up to Trump’s corruption, they retire or get primaried. And then, they’re replaced by another mindless maga sheep. It’s getting harder and harder to find senators that will listen to reason.
If my house was broken into and I bought new doors and a new lock, and then it happened again and I did the same thing, you’d say, “you’re an idiot, they’ll just break this one down too”. So, I’d buy a dog, a gun, a security system…something different. What you’re saying is, keep buying locks.
It’s not a matter of “we have no choice”. The goalless to be to find an avenue that isn’t a waste of time, attack that and then dismantle everything from the inside. Sometimes that takes longer and isn’t as morally satisfying, but the goal is a permanent change, not quick gratification
Absolutely. But realistically, all the senate will say is that SCOTUS deemed him immune from criminal prosecution. Even though it doesn’t extend to impeachment hearings, they’ll latch on to that as their excuse.
Lauren Boebert went from in debt when she started to worth millions now and no one blinked an eye. Everyone from AOC to Matt Gaetz have tried to criminalize insider trading by federal officials and failed. I think we’d need a different approach
We live in a world where Fetterman wearing a hoodie was more offensive to elected officials than Santos defrauding voters, where a tan suit is more offensive than child rape, and where insider trading is a crime if Martha Stewart does it, but not Pelosi.
Here’s a simple idea. Impeach Hegseth. If the Senate isn’t even willing to convict someone that ordered war crimes, they sure as hell aren’t convicting Trump. Holding months of hearing that noone will watch would just be a waste at that point.
There are dozens of affidavits made under threat of prosecution documenting his rapes, a civil conviction of rape, 34 felony convictions, over 100 accusations of sexual exploitation or harassment, admission of hundreds of bribes taken, etc. Everytime something more is proven:
It’s about choosing what has an actual chance of working. We spent two years chasing justice in his first term with zero success. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is insanity and stupidity
If they found video of him raping a child, would senate republicans sooner:
A. Blame Trump
B. Blame the victim
C. Say the video is fake, even if it was authenticated.
I’d expect it’d to be mainly a combination of B and C, with 5-10 with A at the most.
We also live in a world of laws where death threats caused lawsuits for child rape against the president to get dismissed.

Most of the GOP senators that voted for his conviction the first two times retired or were primaried. They all faced death threats. Now almost of them are gone, so now we’d have to convince those that voted innocent the first two times.
If the votes were anonymous, he may have been convicted back then, but they aren’t. If he was this time, the GOP senators would literally have to fear for their lives.

Hoping for a successful removal of Trump is somewhere between Leprechauns and Unicorns on the list of possible occurrences in life.
Furthermore, two impeachments in his first term only acted to make Trump more popular while failing to slow any of his criminal actions.
Iran was relatively good after the first agreement until it was clear Israel wasn’t going to comply. In that agreement, Trump caved on every single demand. By the time Trump’s done, Iran will be demanding total disarmament of Israel and he’ll still call it a win.
