Someone please explain to me the purpose of "contempt charges" when there seems to be no mechanism for actually enforcing consequences when those summoned just don't bother to come.

DT lives in his own fantasy world, and is now recognized far and wide as being either a pathological liar or delusional. The respect that we worked for decades to earn has been dissipated in 18 months of this man. We must now assume that anything he says is false until proven otherwise.

That there is even the remotest discussion about a contest between the Pope and the President of the United States shows us just how far into the dung hole the latter has pulled us. We will not live down the disgrace of this time for at least a generation.

In everything I have ever read about good leadership, never have I read that threatening, humiliating, debasing, demeaning or lashing out at anyone whose actions you didn't like were acceptable modes of behavior. WHY are so many still supporting this? We need to take a hard look at ourselves.
