Once again, I have forgotten to remind folks for multiple weeks that Violent Delights is in prelaunch on Kickstarter.
It's a chess-based RPG about Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, and apparently it's quite good!

A black and white illustration of a woman in a labyrinth with her back to the viewer. She is wearing a robe and has her hair braided with a hair pin stuck in at the back of her hair that has a crescent moon on it. The labyrinth is constructed from rock that looks like the surface of the moon. She is hastily striding up to an intersection in the labyrinth and two ghostly spirits drift ominously at the end of the possible two paths. The moon hovers above the labyrinth in the top right corner of the composition — it features craters and lines that imply the faces of both a young lady and an old crone. The sky around the moon is speckled with distant stars.
A color cover illustration for the Little Wolves TTRPG with muted purples, blues, greens, yellows, and reds, with black line art. The title logo is done in a yellow stylized blackletter ambigram style that reads the same upside down and right-side up. The logo sits in front of a large red moon. The main focal point of the composition is a young werewolf with glowing eyes, running along with two wolves behind them. The werewolf is tangled in the vines emerging from the silhouetted trees that frame the composition. Along the edges of that frame, in four circular vignettes created by the branches and vines, there are cameos of the four queens of the game: the witch queen, the troll queen, the pumpkin queen, and the mermaid queen. A banner along the bottom of the cover reads “A realm of folk and fae from Dinoberry Press"
i'm incredibly honored to be a part of my first award nominations!
a thousand thank yous to @percypropa.bsky.social (we wander beneath radiant lights) and @dinoberrypress.bsky.social (little wolves) for trusting me with the cover art on their games!

I will literally *give* folks digital review copies of my books, for free, if they promise to review it.
Like it, love it, loathe it.
Just read it and review it fairly.
@rossisaacs.bsky.social is in a bad way. He's unable to work, and since he works as a waiter (and before that, in the RPG industry), he doesn't really *have* 'money that comes in while I can't work.'
Ross did foundational work on Star Trek TTRPGs in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Huge shout to the incomparable @skullingway.bsky.social for bringing this game's art to life

Radiant Lights came from the bones of many, many different novels, short stories, and games that have never been to print. Never been seen. Never been finished. The world of the Order of Celestine is one I am so proud of nevertheless and am pleased is being recognized.
So much love and care to @alamhigo.bsky.social my editor, @jnb.art who did the wonderful cover (and who has also done the work for multi-nominee Little Wolves), @neonrot.bsky.social who did the fabulous layout, and to @shoutingcrow.bsky.social for the original moon game jam.
