Doesn't seem to have helped so far either. Eric Trump tweeted about the case earlier calling it "ridiculous"

Sam Bankman-Fried has filed his purported reply to the court order to answer whether an attorney (or his mother, a former attorney?) has been writing his pro se submissions.
It raises more questions.
It is also not "under penalty of purjury" as required by the court's order.
Oh I should probably check on my home one huh
Oh I know
This is more a joke on something I saw once when I was younger

Tron creator Justin Sun has filed suit against the Donald Trump-linked crypto project World Liberty Financial, alleging it froze his tokens and threatened him while manipulating the $WLFI price and maintaining centralized control over the project.

One of my main goals is to walk through policy issues around crypto through a critical lens -- and I'm hoping I succeed. We'll find out next month, but if any of this sounds interesting, this'll be May 7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

And, of course, we're going to close the policy summit with a dissection of prediction markets, including whether they're actually swaps and who should regulate these products (ie one of the questions we may end up seeing before SCOTUS).

We're going to discuss the 2026 midterm election and how crypto is going to engage with it. I'll have more to say about this later but obviously there are some big questions heading into November, including whether crypto is even remotely close to any voter's radar.

This includes whether and how AML/KYC regulations could be applied to DeFi platforms, tax regulations, what to make of all these banks getting into blockchain (and crypto cos becoming banks), market structure regulation and state regulation of crypto.

I'm going to shill for a second: For the last few months I've been helping put together some of Consensus Miami's policy sessions. My goal is for learned voices to discuss some important regulatory issues around digital assets.

Two things I've done when I'm not quite sure how to write what I want to write --
1. I just throw random details into my document. I might not know how to start an article but I'll throw the middle part in and eventually work my back towards my lede
2. A blank piece of paper and a pen

what if i create an AI-generated eyeball, like is the tooling sophisticated enough to know the difference if i were to deepfake up a realistic-looking one?
This bit was quoted by Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-CT) in yesterday's House Ag hearing with CFTC Chair Selig
Hahahahahahahaha 🫠
Years of the crypto industry arguing that the Major Questions Doctrine applies to their cases and judges saying no and the first case I cover where it comes up may be the CA9 consolidated hearing about prediction markets?
This 9th Circuit panel hearing on prediction markets has so far been pretty interesting www.ca9.uscourts.gov/media/live-o...
Anyone remember Long Island Iced Tea becoming Long Blockchain?
Apropos of nothing, of course
My co used that CMS suite for a few years and search was one of the things that caused issues for us too IIRC
Is this about the Pokemon Go thing?
I spoke to CFTC Chair Selig last week about his agency's fight with states over prediction markets. "It doesn't matter if it's on sports, politics or anything else; if it's a validly offered product within a CFTC-regulated exchange, then we regulate that," he said.

Fellowship hasn't shared much information about who's funding it, who most of the people involved are or even who they've got running their communications. What we know: Their new chairman works for Tether and their treasurer works for Cantor.

The new crypto PAC, Fellowship, hasn't yet posted receipts for donations. It has, however, announced $300k in support of Clay Fuller and bought services from a company co-founded by the Tether US CEO/former White House official Bo Hines. From my colleague Jesse
