Transformative solutions to strengthen climate resilience are developed and tested. Each of the six demonstrator regions thereby tackles a regional climatic challenge e.g. decline in snow cover and frequency, causing difficulties for reindeer herders, winter tourism or agricultural practices. 2/3

What makes the project socially innovative is its #LivingLab approach. By bringing together 130 stakeholders in RO and BG, 4P-CAN creates new relationships between citizens, policy-makers and health officials to jointly address gaps in cancer literacy.

4P-CAN focuses on cancer prevention by taking into account the risk factors on micro, meso and macro level. Centering on the modifiable risk factors of smoking, alcohol consumption, physical inactivity, excess body weight (overweight &obesity), HPV and HBV infections and environmental pollution.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀:💡 "4P-CAN" is short for "Personalized Cancer Primary Prevention Research through Citizen Participation &Digitally Enabled Social Innovation".
