My point is less about fans should maintain faith in the manager and/or players. But more about for the players themselves. A bunch of these guys have been trying non stop but had crushing ends to multiple seasons now. It's rare for teams to stick together for this long without any trophy success.

If this season ends trophyless (which is the current direction of travel), I think the project is practically. Not sure what the way back for this group is at least.
A fresh perspective on Arsenal, can’t recommend this episode enough. It’s a brilliant deep dive from an "outsider" lens—fair critiques, but some genuinely insightful theories on why the club’s history has played out the way it has. Worth a listen for the historical context alone. #Arsenal #COYG #AFC
Today, on Libero, as Arsenal prepare to face Manchester City in the League Cup final, we ask if this is the end of their lost years.

You really notice how important Saliba and Gabriel are. Beyond the obvious physical and defensive benefits, they're so good on the ball and playing through the press. Missed that a lot the last few away games
I fully agree, it super interesting. I wonder if its to try and cope with the odds you're constantly facing as a football player. It's so competitive, odds of success are so low, luck plays a huge role, demands so much sacrifice. I can imagine faith in a higher power helps some of them cope with it
Something I struggle with daily. Stopped watching Arsenal second half of last season largely because he was getting a new contract. Was livid most of the summer till he left. After that have genuinely enjoyed watching arsenal and I feel guilty because I think what arsenal did re Partey is wrong.
Should we be worried that we are underperforming XG or too early?
Not that I support the slagging off, but I don't think too many folks were holding up Trossard as the solution on the left either 😅
You could also sail the high seas cause these fascists don't deserve to benefit out of the art of honest people
Great Led Zep references, especially the Dyer Maker one
This thread is 100% facts, don’t let the droves of rape apologists tell you different.
It’s also very disheartening to see how many fans seem to believe that being a fan means blindly cheerleading everything the club does rather than actually protecting the values it stands for.
Surely the same folks who believed that the club would have inside information about the investigation would now be in support of firing Arteta? Because if he knew this and still recommended that a new contract be given what other outcome is there?
I'm planning on continuing to talk about Thomas Partey, Arsenal and rape culture as long as it is a problem within football

A very serious discussion needs to be had about rape culture in football. This isn’t the first and it’s not going to be the last.
His teammates and other footballers (some we consider to be good people) have all shown support for him over social media. This is a disturbingly deep-rooted issue.
I am in the same boat man. Fairly confident I will never spend a penny on Arsenal related merchandise again
Oh yeah for sure. They have an awesome front 6, no reason they shouldn’t gamble on them making it work rather than praying their defense holds
I think around that minute, there were a couple of times when Merino and Odegaard actually caught the pass and immediately turned on the back line. I think that spooked them into stopping
The challenge I’m having is a recursive loop of injuries is the problem but also the squad just seems weak beyond the starting XI. No offensive midfielders other than MØ, hoping LT continues his hot streak, carrying the two underperforming Gabis while signing RC and MM just seems self inflicted.
I’m interested in not seeing any more of Thomas Partey, like ever again. Unless it’s in jail
My biggest complaint with Havertz is that his signing neither addressed the left 8 question nor the CF one. Don’t mind the player and I think he’s actually quite good, but he’s just not good enough at either role in this system
There’s a sub Reddit called r/raisedbynarcacissits or something similar. Maybe good for inspo?
That’s basically what I meant, we just don’t have the juice to catch them. Tbf they were always going to drop points, but we are now showing we don’t have the squad to catch them.
I mean the League is done. The cups have to be the focus now
I literally texted my friend the same thing, why is it thinning so much? What are they doing to my boy?
Okay everything you say is right, but we need those idiots to take points off of Chelsea. So we need the Big Mate to get his shit together fast
Sexual violence is an issue that plagues the sport as well as our League. We call on our club @Arsenal to listen to our concerns and communicate their policies and commitment to tackling this issue. Join us and 8k+ people in our cause by signing our letter through the link in our bio!
We need to come out and blitz them the first 30 mins. Like when Sanchez and Ozil scored 3 by min 30. If this goes late and is in the balance, huge risk of knicking something on the counter. And honestly, we have zero margin for error till the new year.
I saw Jamie Carragher is now on here and already doing the shitty troll quote tweets. We really can never have nice things
I really find the new cultural phenomenon of always needing to have a take or an opinion on everything very very exhausting. And I genuinely am hoping Bluesky is more about people who know things just talking about it, rather than a bunch of horrid takes and people reacting to them
