Don't fight the whole world at once: there are going to be situations where you are outnumbered but this doesn't mean you have to charge the fleet head on, take a big battle one enemy or one fight at a time. Learning not to bite off more than you can chew is essential to a long career

Let your weapons do the work: in any decent mobile suit your targeting system will have a degree of correction or aim assist, learn to work with it. Focus on your maneuvering and fight the urge to make "the perfect shot" and you'll live longer than guys who stand still aiming

Trust your instincts: if you think you can take that fight, go for it, if you feel it's time to disengage you're probably right. The key here is to be decisive, making a call now and committing to it is better than taking five minutes to decide what the optimal strategy is

If I had to condense my piloting experience down to three rules for newbies to remember and possibly survive their first engagement it would be these

1. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS

2. LET YOUR WEAPONS DO THE WORK

3. DON'T FIGHT THE WHOLE WORLD AT ONCE

I have been using the stun grenades and Halt shotgun to lock down more frustrating enemies for my team and it's been going better than I expected. The mini shields are good I find it difficult to be proactive with them
