This #poetrytuesday we’re featuring Osmani Ochoa’s poem, “re: <migrant>futurism,” from the anthology Xicanx Futurism (Riot of Roses Publishing), edited by Scott Rusell Duncan. The first poem of the anthology, Ochoa’s work serves as an introduction to the concept of Xicanx futurism.

For Black History Month, Beyond Baroque presents an evening with filmmaker documentarian Stanley Mitchell. Venice America collects several years' worth of archival footage, considering Venice's Oakwood community over three decades after major violence in 1993–94 followed by waves of gentrification.
We’re now accepting applications for the 2026 Linda J. Albertano Poetry Fellowship! This fellowship offers a chance for emerging women and nonbinary poets to develop their artistic practice.
