Scratch that: the scope of my contribution went beyond what faculty were doing. They just led the workshops.

I just want to add to the audacity: they budgeted for a specific rate based on the scope of the project (curriculum and assessment development, promotion, creating student-facing resources, refining and leading workshops, data collection), then suggested that I do the work for my regular rate.

Yeah, fuck that job. They literally put in writing to me that faculty are paid the same rate for doing their work on the project, and then in the next breath basically said I’d be doing the same exact work for less (despite having faculty classification in addition to classified).
