Lydford forest drew me further and further in this afternoon and I got lost. Turned my walk from a stroll to a hike to a tramp to a trudge to a slog.

Trudged up to the hill to the church this morning. Had a quick word with God whilst I was there.

Visited this isolated copse high on Dartmoor this afternoon. I'm pretty sure elves live there. First one to identify where it is wins a virtual Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Roadster. There is a clue on the horizon.

Today I completed the 400 mile circuit of Cornwall.
1 million 82 thousand tiring, yet glorious steps 👍
I wonder whether they will let me be an honorary Cornishman now?

Circuit of Cornwall Day 28. Portwrinkle to Plymouth.
After 300 stunning miles, here at the Cremyll ferry, I have finally run out of Cornish coastal path. Now its time to forge inland and follow the Tamar across the peninsula to complete the circuit. Only 87 miles to go!

This is Portnadler bay - I used to catch Wrasse off the headland rocks here - they are not that tasty but the cat absolutely loved them.🐱

Circuit of Cornwall Day 9; Porthcothan - Newquay.
This little fella landed right next to me. None other than one of Cornwall's rare Choughs (currently only 200 birds). Pardon the pun, but I was well chuffed. I swear it bowed to me, which I believe makes me an honorary Cornishman.
