DISCO ELYSIUM is PLANESCAPE: TORMENT for people who have not read a book in the last calendar year but have watched a series of 2 hour video essays on YouTube

Why are they called sea cucumbers? They spend their lives in salt water. Shouldn't they be pickles?
Working on a quiz show called Riddled By Cancer. Lateral thinking puzzles given to contestants with medical debt. Someone passed already because they said they couldn't license it to other countries, but I feel like we could sell it to the UK after Reform takes over in a few years.
I've never seen E! True Hollywood Stories, but I assume it's basically Drunk History but the guests are on ecstasy instead of drunk?
I want to watch an episode of It's Always Sunny where they watch High Potential and hate it and make their own show in that genre: Diminished Capacity.
The Amadeus TV show is froyo. It takes something great and ruins it a little so we can have more of it.
I'm a tiny crab on a tidal wave.
I have no real complaints and I do have you to complain about them to.
Dream Journal: I was watching Gilmore Girls but all the residents of Stars Hollow were Pokemon belonging to Lorali. Everyone else was human. Honestly, not much changed. It made a lot of sense, barring the tagline "Gilmore Girls: Gotta Gil Them All!"
There should be a fragrance called Stereo that's really two complementary scents and you apply one to each side of your neck.
I choose to believe that holding one to a high standard of hospitality is a form of feline affection.
Mythic Mortals kind of fits. Fun card game mechanic and the GM opens by describing how they are just about to start a game when they get kidnapped by monsters.
I respect those opinions, but I'm going with pretzel.
Authored is a good description. It has a bunch of GM supports that make it easy to run and easy to tell its specific story. It can feel just shy of scripted. But that's what it is. You don't try to swim laps in a lazy river. Just relax, don't fight it, and have a good time.
Why would an amateur do a two hour debate with an expert? The point of debate is to have two experts talk and discuss to hone ideas and so others can listen and make informed opinions.
If one of you is an expert and the other isn't, that's not a debate, it's a performance. It's bullfighting.
I've always said that horses are terrible people.
Russians are actually a super optimistic people. If you ask them a question, odds are that they'll reply 'Da' which means yes, or 'Nyet' which is short for not yet.
Slightly diminish a book.

People say not to share how much you get paid too, but that's a scam to shortchange us. Information wants to be free! Thank you for this.
Yeah, the problems include the finality and ability to hide and moot mistakes and wrong-doing. Cost effectiveness isn't really up there.
Right? The bar for "natural" moves so much. Like it's still natural and ok when you turn it into a gummy, but turn corn into a syrup and that's unnatural.
But to be fair, supernatural things ARE bad for you. Don't eat fairy food or smoke ghosts kids.
It is totally its own thing! But it also checks a conspicuous number of boxes with its own versions of lunars, sidereals, warstriders, an MIA deity, magic martial arts, arrogant ancients that ruined creation, the recent return of exalted sparks, etc. I hoped it would be an easy switch.
I really like Godbound. I had a group that loved Exalted, and this seemed to hit the same "high powered heroes in a broken world under siege" theme but without a lot of the baggage. I love the Effort system, and how much the system helps GMs give non-combat problems to very powerful characters.
I think there are a lot of blocks you can take out of a Jenga tower without it falling over, sure.
1 like = 1 hinged ttrpg opinion
I think this might be the first game you've made that doesn't center on death and murder!
Anhedonia Biscuit sounds more like a drag name
If I'm right, this joke will be a big hit.
Very upset about Click-to-Cancel getting tossed. The FTC didn't do an analysis that was only required if the economic impact was over $100 million. The plaintiffs apparently successfully argued that they actually steal much more than that every year from people who no longer want their services.
BREAKING: Leaked emails show Mamdani considers tabletop game design "not a big deal if you have a good DM [sic]".
The Whole Package? That was fun.
