I understand the utility of the terminology FMC and MMC. But as someone who writes a lot of stories about characters for whom gender is complicated, and a lot of stories that are not cishet, it doesn't work for me specifically and it annoys me. Noah is my gender-ambivalentMC. Both MCs are masc.

Still asking for no-heat romances, because I want to read them. It is so hard because EVERY trope map I look at sounds like it’s tailor made for me and then I see “lots of spice 🌶️ ” and it becomes instantly inaccessible to me.
