Mainstream media, establishment politicians, and universities bow down to the 1%, and it's up to us to speak truth to power. So now we're launching a new program to do just that.

We need transit projects for these simple commutes as a starting point, as well as urban density including family size along existing transit infrastructure

The next tipping point in the energy transition is approaching.

Overall, solar has already been cheaper than fossil power for a while, but upfront costs used to be higher.

That's no longer the case. Solar is now competitive upfront AND has vastly lower operating costs (no fuel).

Media Keeps Getting it Wrong on E-Motos and E-Bikes — And It's Doing Real Damage - Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota We've seen the Associated Press's coverage too, and we're working on it.

An illegal electric motorcycle injured a Hastings woman. Media keeps calling it an e-bike. That mistake has real consequences.

Learn what we're doing about it ⤵️⤵️⤵️

Geordi no/yes meme

The no is "$1000+ PS6"
The yes is "Buy a cheap old $200 desktop and install Linux to play old games instead"

Seems like really bad timing for New Jersey to have made it prohibitively difficult for people to purchase and use e-bikes. Let it be a cautionary tale for other states: Talk to experts and don't enact draconian laws that lump e-motos and and pedal-assist bicycles in together.

I will not defend any form of waste, Over consumption was out of control before AI started inflating hardware. If we had to buy a separate house to put exclusive furniture in it that'd sound insane

I'd happily settle for a Nintendo store on the computer or a Playstation store. If they don't want to pay a 30% cut to Steam its fair game. The only issue I have is the hardware. Is it higher than the priority of dealing with Ai, no, but why do we have to buy their hardware to play their games?

3 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

I agree AI is spiking everything(fuck ai), new hardware is a nightmare, and Playstation and Nintendo are refusing to spread their software to other platforms. Nintendo/Playstation games would run on a very affordable computer. They're making us fight. I will work on my phrasing.

Respectfully, you don't need to spend thousands on a pc, I'd be happy to assist with a build under $1000. One of my mini pcs I use for streaming and emulation was $235. It frustrates me that Sony and Nintendo have pinned us against eachother, I love their content not their hardware

Yeah let's take one cost of the total cost and make it the whole argument...

If a person has to buy several consoles and subscriptions to play their games, the long term cost will be higher than a refurbished pc.

If we weren't producing all these consoles there would be more available material

I genuinely hope this kills consoles, they use the same hardware and limit software functionality. Get a pc and those yearly subscriptions vanish

This app acts like they'll all just go back to "normal" once he's gone which drives me insane. Our current system will continue to be exploited. All these bad policies will have to be re-explained in 10 years if we don't make individual and structural changes immediately
