Streeting orders review into mental health and ADHD diagnosis The health secretary said the aim was to tackle a rising demand for services and the increased pressure on the NHS.

Considering Streeting's well stated belief autism, ADHD etc, along with mental health issues, are "overdiagnosed", I won't hold my breath for this doing anything other than being used to cut support, along with opportunities for diagnosis, for people who need it. #r4today

Board Chair here, and ditto.

I fail to see why they are doing this, is it too cynical to suggest it's a distraction from the curriculum issues, or are they just taking a public kicking that they didn't expert?

School kapa haka group issues Treaty challenge to Erica Stanford Erica Stanford says principals facing ‘nasty pressure’ to come out in support of Te Tiriti.

Is Stanford attempting to talk to the minority who support this Treaty removal nonsense, with her "convinced... ...disgusting" etccomments, or is she losing it under the pressure?

As a member of a board I can assure you we required no convincing, and were asked by a number of our community to do so

How the oil and gas industry helped rewrite New Zealand’s drilling rules A paper trail shows just how far ministers went to accommodate the oil and gas industry's wishlist.

Fossil fuel companies were given confidential drafts of legislation during their (successful) two-year campaign to weaken oil and gas regulation and overturn the offshore exploration ban - new reporting from me via the OIA

It’s wild that the tradition of singing anthems before sports matches started with a Wales v NZ rugby match in 1905, as the Welsh wanted to drown out the haka.

The haka is a longer and more established tradition than pre-game national anthems. 🤯 No more moaning that the AB’s should stop doing it.

Dining across the divide: ‘We both came out thinking Zack Polanski is a breath of fresh air’ They both liked the Greens’ Zack Polanski and disliked the tech oligarchs. But could they find common cause over the power of the unions?

After the disgusting suggestion from Labour that we strip mine refugees, this cheered me: A 70 year old ex-shop steward (union man) & a 40 something tech worker (manager) both agree the Greens are the only ones speaking sense.
