You are almost certainly correct. Nevertheless, I automatically think of “Mase In Your Face” whenever I see a Knicks jersey bearing #14.

Heading out with friends after school on bikes and being at complete liberty until dinner time. At most, we would leave a note on the kitchen counter, which could not be read until a parent came home from work.

I love that Spike Lee is rocking a “Pope Leo” Knicks jersey with #14 (Anthony Mason).

He pontificated that a person whose spouse wanted a divorce should refuse and then live as if they were still married if the state granted a divorce. He claimed that this stance was (a) natural law and (b) the reason LGBT couples should be barred from marriage, because they couldn’t live up to this.

Tears At Golgotha A painful statement from a broken heart

After making his public stance, “people should never get divorced no matter what and that’s why same sex couples should not be allowed to marry”, he publicly announced “my wife recently filed a petition of divorce, and I have agreed unreservedly to her request for a mutual, and amicable, parting.”

This is the guy who made his brands “Never get divorced, no matter what” and “same sex couples can’t comprehend the sanctity of marriage” who then divorced his wife, right?

He is competing with Dinesh D’Felon for “biggest quasi-intellectual hypocrite”.

Low stakes conspiracy that I actually believe: “Freedom Williams” was voiced by Ice-T for C&C Music Factory, same as “Zelma Davis” was voiced by Martha Wash.

Ice-T did not want to acknowledge he was part of something so pop, so he never came forward to claim credit. He just cashed the check.

That is what I was trying to convey. The idea that there is an army in combat that does not commit war crimes is folly. The pervasiveness of war crimes varies greatly, but it would unprecedented to have none across an extended military campaign. Yet another reason to avoid war as a political tool.

Israeli Soldier in Lebanon Sledgehammered a Statue of Jesus

Netanyahu’s delusion that the IDF can provide enduring security to Israel has been running into the reality that a % of soldiers’ combat behavior cannot withstand scrutiny.
It’ll be ironic, but unsurprising, if a sledgehammer to a Jesus icon poisons Israel with MAGA in a way that Gaza did not. GIFT

Under DC's anti-SLAPP law, discovery is automatically stayed during the pendency of an anti-SLAPP motion to dismiss.

Since the NY Times (as per its awful procedure) failed to post a link to Kash Patel's defamation suit against The Atlantic and Sarah Fitzpatrick, here it is.

Patel's lawyers, Binnall Law Firm, repped NC LG Mark Robinson in aborted defamation suits.

Anti-SLAPP motion coming should be forthcoming.

Coastal biomedical labs are bleeding more horseshoe crabs with little accountability Horseshoe crab blood is used to test vaccines around the world. But while Europe has approved a synthetic alternative, biomedical labs are bleeding more crabs from the Atlantic coast.

Highly prized for medical diagnostics. They are supposed to be returned to the ocean alive, but that is not always the case.

I smiled when I read this, because it speaks truth to power. Then, I got angry, because of who is wielding power. Then, I remembered my first lesson as an activist, “Don’t just get angry. Get organized!”

Not long after I started law school, my interactions with Harvard administrators led me to vow never to give one penny to the institution.

I have never regretted that decision.

U.S. Installs a Trump Loyalist to Lead ‘Grand Conspiracy’ Case Into Trump Foes

I have frequently said that it is hard for me to imagine how Trump could further damage the institution of the DOJ, but that only demonstrates the limits of my imagination.

I did not imagine Trump putting Joe diGenova in charge of investigating his political enemies. It just got worse.

Flexcar: Your flexible car lease. Zero down. Cancel anytime. Ditch the dealership and save thousands with Flexcar: the only $0 down, month-to-month car lease. Cars starting at $199/mo. Swap or return anytime.

I made the mistake of leasing through Flexcar. www.flexcar.com

I arranged for scheduled free service near home, because I live >100 miles from their closest location. Flexcar approved time & location, but has refused to make anyone available to arrange payment.

Hung up on me after 60 minutes.
