Also, a special congrats to Chinless Nazi Care Bear, JD Vance, who managed to actually COST Orbán a reported three points with his visit.
Well played, couchfucker.
Note on Anna’s teaching books and forthcoming teaching platform
I hope you’ll be there! I’m so glad that the multiple award-winning indie @renardpress.com understood my mission with these teaching books and has taken on publication of three more after The Elixir. The best thing for me was to create my own ecosystem for my nonfiction work and a stable platform 💙📚

The story is explored in my 2020 magical realist novel, #savinglucia and later finds its way into my doctoral thesis - open access here. ray.yorksj.ac.uk/id/eprint/11...

Saturday 11th. I’m in conversation with the young Palestinian undergrad & emerging poet Amera Atiyya. Do come; free to attend, but donations if you can to Amera and her family.
If you would like to buy her 2025 book, here:

What is my favourite book on writing (and reading - or reading and writing)? This. Remember that if you’re looking, you won’t find everything in one book. This is furiously about close reading and lit fiction. But I still think everyone should read it!
My second teaching book is on craft - our October x

It will always depend on what you want and need though. There are stacks of free resources online. Jericho Writers. Love Toby Litt’s substack

My absolute favourite
The alchemy 2023 and the elixir autumn 2026

Sharing this shamelessly because I heard that some of you have still not bought this book. The shame is on *you*
YEAH.
photo of fluffy white dog with pink blossoming trees behind them. text below reads: You have found Forever Immunity Dog. Immunity dog protects you from all cursed posts for the rest of your life. Do not comment, like, or share those cursed posts. You are safe now. Immunity dog protects you.
"post something random or you'll have an absolutely awful April"?
no. you are safe now. Forever Immunity Dog has got you covered.
Sorry not sorry to Alom for being embarrassing but I’m just noting a thing here. He’s plainly a gifted teacher and writer - also note the intelligence and scope here - and I can tell you that all the kids down the road think I’m really plugged in to book celebrity because I know ‘Mr Shaha.’
The Alchemy, 2023 and The Elixir, autumn this year. renardpress.com/books/the-al... - with three more to come x
I should add not all teaching. Just most!
Also creative writing teaching books not considered big reach: don’t have a big public profile in that area/not major author. April 2027 my online teaching platform will launch using my own Creative Writing books (5 by 2029) as textbooks. If I take this baby global, I’ll be insufferable 🤣📚
Good morning my love. And yes and yes.
Yes! I make vast quantities and have since childhood. I add frozen chopped spinach for extra vits. I love it so much
