I suspect that this move is based on union agreements -- that they basically have to offer them their jobs back. But a week's time does not indicate that they actually want THESE people on those positions. Which tracks with Project 2025's plan to replace them with boot lickers.
The issue is that they don't actually want the old employees to return. They're giving them a single week to decide if they want their old jobs back. Meanwhile many have moved or taken other jobs.

Something to think about with the Ross Ulbricht pardon. The feds are still sitting on $6.5 billion in bitcoin seized from silk road. If Trump gives it back to Ulbricht, he could easily pay back Trump by trading it for Trump coin. A potential bribe of millions or billions of dollars for a pardon.

This is not a one off. Report after report of alcohol, assault, harassment. This is a pattern of abuse.
We need answers, not a rushed vote.
If kindness is weak then tyranny is the optimal survival strategy. What the foreseeable future of humanity is about to test - in horrific and heroic ways - is whether that's true. Is kindness and cooperation stronger than heartless violence and oppression? The survivors will find out.
