Any number of video games from the 90s/00s. JRPGs and Myst-style puzzle games, mostly.

The first thing I ever really tried to write was a sequel to Chrono Trigger that was a Back to the Future Part II revisit of the first game, from the first game's children's perspective. (Yes even Frog and Robo)

We made a machine that can only run. Can't use a tool, clean a carpet, carry a load. Only run. Doesn't need to eat, can't get tired, doesn't need to conserve energy for the rest of its day. Only run.

And it's still only six minutes faster than a person who can smile at a cloud or help a friend.

A) Whenever I am presented with "content" to "consume" I Bartleby the Scrivener right the hell out of there.

B) I bounce off the writing of living humans' earnest attempts to make art. Friends, even. If my only options are AI slop "content" and a brick wall, I--once again--go the way of Bartleby.

I've seen this particular site as a teacher, and it is entirely aimed at students who a) did not write their essay, and b) know that their teacher is going to run it through an AI checker.

It's the "Are we the baddies" of AI detection. If you're asking, you already know.
