Chuck Schumer is one of those guys that can always identify the problem. He can point to who is to blame. He can tell you what needs to happen.
But he can never - and will never - take the initiative to make things happen.
In business, these guys get fired early. He needs to go. And now.

Does anyone actually listen - really listen - to anything Sean Hannity says? Asking for a friend.
If you stepped away from your business for 30 days… would it run, or would it wait?
I asked a roomful of business owners this question last week.
And the room got very quiet.

The President of the United States is unbearably exhausting. Do we really need his every thought (which rarely have any real thought in them) shared all day every day?
Wishing you confidence and good luck on your first day on the job, TeonotheFoxiePunx. Be great.
And keep drawing and creating stuff!
Congratulations, El Barto Anti-Work.
Good luck!
Be great.
Just imagine the percentage of U.S. bills that are going to be defaced once they are released with his signature on them.
Right under that signature there will be so many choices, so many opportunities to write “is a…..(choose your word or words)”
What would you write?
Great job, Nadine Antoinette.
Now promote the hell out of it!
Wishing you all the best!
An image of the dwarf planet Pluto showing its distinct heart-shaped glacier. The text above reads "Be like Pluto." Below the planet, the caption explains that Pluto was removed from the list of planets in 2006, but it continues to orbit the Sun regardless. It concludes with the message: "Pluto doesn’t care what others think about it."
I love this image and its message…
…a great reminder for all of us.
An infographic featuring a close-up, front-facing portrait of a crow with a serious expression. The headline at the top reads, "I AM NOT 'JUST A CROW.' I AM ONE OF THE MOST INTELLIGENT ANIMALS ON EARTH." The image uses labels and arrows to highlight the following traits: • My Brain: Lists abilities such as using tools, solving multi-step problems, recognizing human faces, holding funerals, counting, planning, and deceiving. • Memory: Points to the head, noting they remember both kindness and cruelty. • Face Recognition: Points to the eye, stating, "I know you." • My Social Life: Mentions family groups with helpers, sharing threat information, regional dialects, and remembering grudges for years. • Tool Use: Points to the beak, stating, "I can solve problems you can't." • Funerals: Points to the chest, stating, "We mourn our dead." At the bottom, a yellow banner contains the text: "You're being judged by one of nature's smartest minds. Every day. In your own backyard. How does that feel?"
The more you learn about crows, the more fascinating they become. Thank you for a great post Wildlife Nomads.
Thanks for nothing, Maine.
We’ve had to deal with Susan Collins and her nonsense for years.
Now we get Jared Golden crossing the aisle and crossing the whole Democratic Party.
Will the good citizens of Maine please get together and take out the trash?
It’s a beautiful, noble, inspired and inspiring ask, Betty the Vampire Slayer.
It’s a vision that needs to happen.
Make it happen.
Exactly, Aiyana White.
Exactly!
When multiple CEOs start using words like “survive,” that’s not strategy.
That’s recognition – arriving later than it should.
I’ve worked with companies that followed this exact path.
The early signals were there.
They just didn’t feel urgent at the time.
Until they were.
Give this a read:
When we strip out entry-level “grunt work” and hand it to AI, we’re not just saving time – we’re removing the very experiences that teach people how the business actually works.
So the real question isn’t “Where can AI save time?”
It’s: “What happens if no one ever learns the hard way again?”
Coffee vibes and bookish goodwill from Asheville, North Carolina, Charlotte Moore-Lambert. Good luck on that interview! Be great.
Amen, Tangwa Abilu.
Amen.
I appreciate your clarifying post, Olga Nesterova. That image was all over social media yesterday and it just shows what a propaganda platform these sites can be and how easily misinformation and disinformation can be disseminated.
Gen Z isn’t afraid AI will replace them.
They’re afraid it will make them less capable.
AI can make work faster.
But if it skips the part where people struggle, fail, and figure things out…
are we building capability –
or just output?
Some of the challenges facing employees and leaders….
Excellent advice, Arley Song.
Especially your last two lines.
What a great idea, Clayton Tucker.
But I tend to think that people that are buying all those processed foods know what they are buying and simply don’t care.
It is very clear he has the attention span and demeanor of a child. He indulges every one of his ADHD-addled thoughts - lying in every thought he shares about Iran and the economy, attacking the Pope and then posting tweets showing himself as savior. It’s clear he knows no one will stop him.
What a gorgeous image, Kjcole.
Wishing you a productive and successful week ahead.
Be great in it.
Maria Bartiromo lost any credibility she once had a very long time ago. Now she’s just another soulless condescending shill at FOX. She has become unwatchable.
That’s a great line, Dave Infante.
And it reinforces something very noticed for a long time. You know what you never find in a Cybertruck? A woman.
Nice catch, Crystal.
That’s a very cool shot.
Well done.
I’ve always loved this quotation, Rae Radford.
Trapped...
by his own ego and mistakes...
I love this!
