This is an ok game that while it doesn't play like Mega Man Legends, it's still entertaining. It's story is kinda mid, gameplay consists of completing missions themed around puzzle, action and dungeon crawling. Overall, it's fine and worth a look for any fan of the series.

A retro style run n'gun, that draws heavy inspiration from the OG Contra formula. It has some fantastic visuals, wide array of colors and cool enemy designs. Gameplay is challenging but fun and the sound design stands out as well. This is definitely worth a playthrough.
#supercyborg
An on rails, light gun style game, that looks and feels low budget but is actually pretty fun. There's 6 stages to play through, each with it's own unique theme. Supports up to 4 players and it's a quick playthrough, at about an hour to get through the entire game. Worth a look.

This is by far my favorite Smash Bros. game in the series. The character roster is perfect, visually it's amazing and the presentation is awesome. It's a definite must play and in my opinion better than the latest entry, which just doesn't have the same charm.
#supersmashbrosmelee
This game is ok and kinda fun for a while but gets stale rather quickly. It's a simple premise but what holds it back is the jumping. Platforming feels ridiculously stiff and gets in the way of the overall gameplay. There's some fun to be had for sure but it doesn't last long.
#iceclimber
This game felt similar to Color Splash but unfortunately, not as good. Battles here felt unsatisfying, as the only thing earned were coins. Some puzzles felt ambiguous and progression came to a grinding halt because of it. Fans of the series might enjoy, personally I'd pass.

This is a cool little adventure on the DS. Although the story wasn't the most thrilling, the gameplay made up for it. There's lots of grinding to be had, plenty of exploration, characters are interesting and the presentation is good. All in all, it's an entertaining JRPG to get into.
#dragonquest4
This metroidvania style Kirby game is a refreshing take on the series. There's much to explore and there's a lot of backtracking involved but it's done in a way that doesn't feel too tedious. The map isn't very detailed but it's better than nothing I suppose. Worth a look.

This action platformer seemed like it would be decent on the GBC, it was not. Hit detection seems off, approaching an enemy and using a normal attack will surely result in getting hurt. Visually it's terrible, the Rangers look goofy and it's best to skip this one entirely.
#powerrangerstimeforce
This is a nice looking and easy playing fighting game. It plays well and the controls feels responsive. Combos are pretty simple to pull off and the roster includes chibi versions of a variety of characters. All in all, it's a fun little game that fans should check out.
#guiltygearpetit2
This is an awesome beat em'up with unique gameplay. There are 4 characters to choose from, each with their own special skills. Moves are used by entering button inputs similar to SFII. Visuals are detailed and nicely animated. Overall, it's a great time, definitely worth a look.
#zeroteam
This is a cool 2D fighter with large character sprites and excellent visuals. Enviorments are colorful and detailed and there's a good variety of unique characters. Gameplay can feel a bit clunky but overall it's not terrible. Fighting game fans should give it a look.
#voltagefightergowcaizer
This platformer is a much slower paced experience, than the traditional Sonic games. It's gameplay consist of navigating areas and using items found throughout, to continue on. It's an ok time but after a while, it did become boring. It's not a terrible game, just not for me.
#tailsadventure
A dope vertical shoot em'up that offers a good degree of challenge and fun. The charge shot mechanic sets this one apart from others, it's always at your disposal and power ups are plentiful. Visuals and soundtrack are pretty good, definitely worth a playthrough.
#battlecrust
This beat em'up is a mixed bag. Visually it isn't very impressive, the character designs and animations seem weak, environments however, are nice and detailed. Sound design is perhaps the worst part, followed closely by the gameplay, which feels sluggish and janky, albeit playable.
#watermargin
This is a fun platformer and a lengthy one at that. 7 chapters each with 3 stages and an 8th chapter that serves as a ridiculously easy final stage. The visuals are nice, they're colorful and decently detailed. Soundtrack is upbeat and whimsical. Overall, it's a decent game, worth a look.
#asterix
This is a horizontal shoot em'up with some really bazaar enemy designs, fun gameplay and detailed visuals. It has a good level of challenge and isn't a very long game at 5 stages. The soundtrack is ok, nothing very memorable. Overall, it's a fun time and worth a look.
#choaniki
This is a neat horizontal shoot em'up. Gameplay is straightforward, the power up system works well and let's you switch things up on the fly. The sound design and soundtrack are ok. Visuals are nice and some boss fights are pretty intense. Overall, it's worth a playthrough.
#dinoforce
I wasn't expecting much of this on the Vita but I was pleasantly surprised. Controls feel fine and executing combos isn't too difficult. Visuals are very nice and vibrant. Character roster is generous and the soundtrack is great. This one is definitely worth a look.
#arcanaheart3
This yugioh game is pretty cool but definitely isn't for everyone. Gameplay consists of dueling, building relationships with the other characters and attending Duel Academy classes to help progress the story. Cards can be unlocked by using in-game currency, earned by dueling.
#yugiohgxtagforce
As a long time fan of Puyo Puyo games, I've enjoyed most iterations and this one is no exception. It offers a few different modes to play, lots of characters to choose from and customization options for general gameplay. It's a great one to play especially for fans of the series.
#puyopuyochampions
This game felt like it required me to play it with another person. The single player option with an AI partner, was pretty wack. The "Aggro" system it tries to make you use, becomes annoyingly tedious. I never truly got the hang of it and ended up having a bad time with this one.
#armyoftwo
This is a good port of the arcade game for the PS2. It plays fine with a controller but it might be a better experience, if played with a steering wheel. Visuals and soundtrack are great. There's a good amount of cars to choose from. Fans of arcade racers should give this a look.
#battlegear2
The PSone is clearly not the best platform to play this game, load times between fights in team mode are pretty bad. However, it is a decent alternative if no other options exist. Load time aside, it's a pretty good port of the classic arcade fighter.
#kingoffighters95
This is one of the coolest and fun shmups I've played in a while. There's a great variety of ships to choose from, each with their own unique shot pattern and specials. The sound design isn't that impressive but the music and visuals are pretty cool. Definitely worth checking out.
#sophstar
This is a really nice looking action platformer with spot on voice acting. The gameplay though, feels simple. Some beat em'up sections are quick and easy, while some boss fights can feel like they drag for far too long. Worth a look, especially for fans of the anime.
#dragonballrevengeofkingpiccolo
An interesting action rpg where battles are in the style of arena fighters like Virtual ON. After some tutorial chapters and small errands, the story starts to pick up and it's fine, for the most part. The Customization options for the robots are extensive each with it's own unique buff.
#customrobo
This wouldn't be my first choice when deciding which vertical shoot em'up to play but it is entertaining. The overall feel of the game is fine, there's some challenge to be sure and it's not a long game, at 7 stages. Visually, it's kinda mid and the soundtrack is ok.
#starsoldiervanishingearth
I didn't think this beat em'up was going to be a bad as it was. The controls felt a bit stiff and the combat didn't feel quite right. Character animations seemed lacking a few frames. So overall, the game although playable, felt cheap. Fans of the genre might find it entertaining.
#brawlbrothers
This is a really good action platformer with only 5 stages, each with an increasing level of challenge. The tunes are nice, with a couple of stand out tracks and the visuals, while not the most impressive, they don't hurt the overall experience. Worth a look.
