The Black Eye Victory Arc has been one of my favourite stories this basho. So exciting

It’s unfortunate that this is probably ammunition for the “promoted too soon” crowd, but it’s not like he didn’t have the elbow bandage etc on day one of the Basho.. 50-50 on saving face vs truly injured, it’s hard to call. Like he keeps saying, “[he’s] learning.” Guess we’ll seeeee
